PRESTIGIOUS NMMA INNOVATION AWARD FOR THE APOLLO RA770 AT IBEX 2018!

Fusion is very excited to announce that the Apollo RA770 has won the prestigious National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Innovation Award in the Entertainment category at the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) 2018!

Based in Tampa, Florida, IBEX is the largest technical marine event in North America, which has become a meeting place for industry experts from around the world to share ideas, do business and accelerate new product development. It’s an exciting event for all in the industry, which is dedicated to advancing the business of boating.

Showcasing marine product development to the recreational boating industry and beyond, the NMMA Innovation Awards are one of the marine industry’s most prestigious honors that recognize manufacturers and suppliers who work hard to innovate and bring new products to the market.

“This year’s entries were very focused on improving the boating experience” said Alan Wendt, chair of the judging panel, and Anne Dunbar, IBEX Show Director, acknowledged that “the winning products will positively impact boating forever, and it’s very exciting.”

The winning product in the Entertainment category and the flagship of the Apollo Series, the RA770 epitomizes creative design and technological brilliance, with many exciting world-first marine innovations. Being the world’s first purpose-built marine entertainment system to feature a glass touchscreen display, built-in Wi-Fi audio streaming, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), PartyBus capability and Apple AirPlay® functionality, the Apollo RA770 really does take marine audio entertainment to the next level.

“The Apollo RA770 was designed from the ground up to not only completely upgrade the overall listening experience for boaters, but to change the way the industry views audio technology,” said Chris Baird, managing director of Fusion Entertainment. “To be selected as the most innovative product in such a competitive category is a huge honor. We are grateful to the judges for their careful consideration.”

Well done, team!
